sitter: Loren

Sitter sessions are so fun and full of personality. Around 6-8 months (when your baby decides to sit up), they are starting to truly show their personality and independence. Look ma! No hands! Loren showed us her girly-girl side as we got together to show a Petite Lifestyle sitter session on some beautiful garden property in New Iberia. This is another session that my 35mm film camera got a little action and actually showed off for me! (It has been a learning experience and always surprising.)

Can you handle her bonnet? Her bracelet? Her cute little lips? I definitely can’t. Especially since my little girl never wanted to wear a bonnet or any type of jewelry! This girl has all the girly traits and I’m a little jealous.

This was also a session that tested all of us adults. Little babies are not always happy (as any parent knows) and as per usual, Miss Loren wanted to show us her independence by giving us a camera strike for most of the session. All in all, I think we were able to capture her little personality perfectly. Moms, just remember, this is all a part of the process! Your little one isn’t happy all the time and that’s ok! We want to remember those moments, too!
